The octopus has spoken... or better said, eaten. Paul predicts victory for Spain in the World Cup Final. He hasn't missed yet during the World Cup. Let's hope the mollusk is right once more!

Aww, so cute!

Bravo Spain! That final was nasty, such a disappointment after the superb semi-finals, what with the brutish karate tactics from the Dutch team. But the Spaniards kept their cool and won the game, and that's all that matters. I felt sorry for that referee.

Yeah, the final was ugly. I felt sorry for the Spanish player that took a foot to the chest, especially since the dutch player didn't get ejected.

Yep, me too. One of the few mistakes the ref made. Certainly the biggest.

I thought the last final was bad, when Zidane head-butted that Italien player for insulting his sister.

But this time, the better guys won. So nice you did Paul atop the Spanish coach's head. He seems like a lovely fellow. Placing the captain on the field when he did saved the Spanish team; he calmed the rest of the team down; they were beginning to lose their cool. Perhaps he had anticipated the Dutch tactics from the start, keeping the captian off the field until crunch time.

Unfortunately many WC finals are bad. Semis seem to be better games. Maybe the pressure to not lose the final brings down the level of play. Yeah, I really disliked the France-Italy final, and Zidane losing his cool was terrible for France.
